Now here's something we never thought we'd say: The Libertines and Eric Cantona are set to play a London charity show.
The one off show takes place at the Roundhouse on June 4th, with all proceeds being donated to the British children's charity HOPING.
The Libertines will perform a headline set, while the bill also includes the legendary Patti Smith and South London's own Loyle Carner.
Curiously, Eric Cantona is also on the bill – the iconic French footballer will perform his poetry, while Frankie Boyle is also set to do some readings.
Bella Freud, co-founder of the HOPING Foundation said: “With these outstanding rockers and artists, performing for HOPING at the Roundhouse on June 4th, – giving their time and their talent- we are able to raise awareness for the Palestinian refugee children we support, and hold in our hearts.”
Tickets for the event will be available on Tuesday (May 15th) at midday through the Roundhouse website.
