The Horrors have managed to re-schedule several previously postponed UK shows for January.
One of the defining bands of 2011, The Horrors have been difficult to avoid. The band’s soaring third album ‘Skying’ – see what we did there? – is set to dominate the year’s end critical polls, after scoring a flurry of rave reviews.
Since its release, The Horrors have barely stood still. The band have toured across Europe and beyond, with the vast atmospherics of ‘Skying’ seeming to suit the larger venues the group have been transported to.
However the continual pressure took its toll last month, in the form of a string of postponements. The Horrors were forced to cancel several shows, with Faris Badwan enduring difficulties with his voice.
Now The Horrors have managed to re-arrange the postponed shows for early next year. The short string of live shows will stretch throughout January, beginning with a date at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room venue.
Hitting Liverpool on January 17th, the tour continues with shows in Oxford and Bristol. Ending on January 22nd, The Horrors will end the short burst of live appearances with a concert at Norwich venue the Waterfront.
Tickets are on sale now.
The Horrors are set to play the following shows:
