The Hives will play this summer’s Live At Leeds: In The Park.
The festival returns to its outdoor setting this May, with organisers pulling together a stellar bill. Swedish garage punks The Hives will stop by the event, with their outrageous live show set to be a highlight of Live At Leeds: In The Park.
Lead singer Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist comments…
“Some festival names just have a ring to them don’t they? Live At Leeds. It sounds like some upper echelon rock shit and if this year’s edition wasn’t before, now it is. The Hives are very proud and happy to join this upper echelon. They are coming for your money and dignity and in exchange they will deliver however long a show you will let them of life-affirming record-breaking rock ’n’ roll music. If you have never seen them before. imagine a rock show but to the 3rd power. Too much of everything. If you have seen them before, you know you will have to again.”
Elsewhere, you can find Aussie indie heroes DMA’s, Northern Irish evergreens Two Door Cinema Club, and bedroom pop talent Cavetown.
New names on the bill include Skinny Living, while Priestgate are delighted to return to Live At Leeds: In The Park. The band comment:
“Delighted to say we’re back playing Live at Leeds again this year, but this time at Live At Leeds: In The Park! Our show at Live At Leeds: In The City got us grinning cheek to cheek, so come check it!”
Live At Leeds: In The Park takes place on May 27th.
