The Great Escape Is Heading To Glasgow And Dublin

For some special shows...

The Great Escape is heading to Glasgow and Dublin in May.

The south coast showcase has evolved into Europe's largest new music event, with hundreds of acts descending on the streets of Brighton.

Now The Road To The Great Escape has been launched, featuring two nights of live music in Glasgow and Dublin.

The Glasgow leg runs across May 9th – 10th, and will feature performances from hotly tipped Scottish songwriter Aaron Smith, AMA, Bamily, Lizzie Reid, Oscar Lang, PVA, and Walt Disco.

Occupying King Tuts Wah Wah Hut – the legendary venue where Oasis were famously spotted – Glasgow crowds will also be treated to sets from Matilda Mann, Gracey, Griff, Strange Bones, and Vanives.

In Dublin, meanwhile, The Road To The Great Escape will occupy multiple venues across May 11th – 12th, with the line up boasting Master Peace, House Of Pharoahs, The Pale White, People Club, HYYTS and more.

Rory Bett, CEO MAMA Festivals, comments:

“Glasgow and Dublin are hotbeds for new music, and we are delighted to reflect this at The Road To The Great Escape. We are incredibly excited by the range of acts we’ve selected and can’t wait to share the line-up. This is one not to be missed!”

Tickets for The Road To The Great Escape go on sale from 9am on Friday (January 24th).
