The Glade Announce Ticket Swap

Featuring Big Chill, Lovebox and more

The organisers of Glade Festival have announced details of a ticket swap with other events.

The Glade began life a the maverick dance stage at Glastonbury, before gaining its independence. Gaining a devoted following, its outlaw status gave the event a feeling of being something different from the norm.

However this summer Glade will not be taking place. The festival moved to a different site last year, meaning that they have to face an entirely new council and representatives from a different police force.

Gaining support from the local council – who obviously see the benefits of a peaceful, award winning event on their doorstep – Glade failed to win over the police.

Finding themselves involved in legal loopholes, the continual delays caused in gaining extra security meant that Glade could not push ahead with the festival as planned. Over budget and behind schedule, the event has been postponed.

Fans who bought tickets in advance have been promised a full refund, although organisers did moot the possibility of an ‘event swap’.

Other festivals have rallied to the call, with fans gaining a lengthy list of alternatives. Glade ticket holders will be allowed to swap their passes for entrance to Lounge On The Farm, The Big Chill and more.

Amongst the events are dance festivals such as Global Gathering and more rock inclined weekenders such as Standon Calling. The organisers of Beach Break Live and more have stepped in to fill the breach and help disappointed fans.

Ticket holders are directed to get in touch with Ticketline, who will assist with any swaps. Refunds are still being accepted.

The full list of festivals runs as follows:

Lounge on the Farm
Lovebox weekender
Global Gathering
Sunrise Celebration
Big Chill
Standon Calling
Beachbreak Live
