Tickets for The Cure’s upcoming Royal Albert Hall show went on sale this morning (September 30th).
These are heady days for fans of The Cure. The band are on majestic form, with their live performances provoking all manner of superlatives. Headlining Bestival this summer, even the threat of rain couldn’t put fans off from basking in their Gothic grandeur.
Announcing two stateside appearances, The Cure promised to play their first three albums back to back in their entirety. An incredible opportunity to witness these records played live, British fans clamoured for an extra show.
Their wish was Robert Smith’s command. The Cure are set to play the Royal Albert Hall on November 15th, playing their first three albums: ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ (1979), ‘Seventeen Seconds’ (1980) and ‘Faith’ (1981).
