The Cure are set to take their ‘Reflections’ show to the UK for a one off date at the Royal Albert Hall.
Debuted earlier this year, ‘Reflections’ sees The Cure turn back the hands of time. The band have prepared an epic set which re-visits their first three albums: ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ (1979), ‘Seventeen Seconds’ (1980) and ‘Faith’ (1981).
Marking the band’s emergence, the three album arc finds The Cure moving from grey post-punk into a broader sonic palette.
Charting their evolution as a distinct songwriting force, the album trio was performed in its entirety at the Vivid Festival in Sydney earlier this year. Announcing dates in the United States, British fans felt rather left out.
Due to overwhelming demand The Cure have now expanded the ‘Reflections’ schedule. Heading out to Europe, the seminal Goth outfit are set to take control of the Royal Albert Hall for one night only.
Taking place on November 15th, the one off show is split into four sets.
