The Cure are set to play a series of special live shows toasting the 30th anniversary of their seminal album 'Disintegration'.
The record was released in 1989, and features some of their best-loved songs, including 'Love Song' and 'Pictures Of You'.
Part of their imperial run, 'Disintegration' remains one of the most curiously challenging hit albums ever made, a bleak but beautiful, romantic but still alienated statement.
The Cure will re-visit the album in full at Australia's Sydney Opera House this summer, playing four shows.
The shows take place on May 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th. To gain tickets, sign up to a ballot via the Sydney Opera House website – they go on sale next Thursday (February 28th).
AUSTRALIA! We are delighted to be returning to @SydOperaHouse for four exclusive performances only at #VividLIVE this May celebrating the 30th anniversary of Disintegration.
