The Big Moon, Sad Night Dynamite, Willie J Healey and more have joined the Great Escape’s 2023 line up.
The Brighton event is Europe’s key point for new music, a colossal showcase that seems to take control of every single venue in the city. A few moments ago organisers just added more than 90 names to the bill, and it’s an eclectic announcement.
Mercury nominated indie types The Big Moon will perform at The Great Escape 2023, with last year’s full length ‘Here Is Everything’ garnering widespread acclaim. A record fuelled by experiences of motherhood and their excellent pop touch, it finds the group going from strength to strength.
Electronic pop partnership Sad Night Dynamite will hit The Great Escape, while Oxford-via-Bristol talent Willie J Healey will showcase his upcoming album ‘Bunny’. Due out on August 25th, the record boasts an appearance from Jamie T, while Florence + The Machine recently took Willie J Healey out on the road.
Hotly-tipped indie force English Teacher will perform in Brighton, while red-hot Liverpool risers STONE have also been added to the bill.
Elsewhere, you can find sets from pop-star-in-the-making Caity Baser, songwriter Billie Marten, and Lime Garden, while the focus country for 2023 is Italy – so, expect sets from Milanosport, Eugenia PostMeridiem, and BLUEM, who join previously announced Italian outfit Sans Soucis on the line-up.
Tickets are on sale now.
The Great Escape runs between May 11th – 14th.
