Australian newcomers The Temper Trap have moved their upcoming London show to a bigger capacity venue.
The Temper Trap formed in Australia, and have found success in their homeland through sheer hard work. Playing all over the country the band crafted a fan base who thrived on their epic songwriting.
Openly citing U2 as an influence The Temper Trap’s euphoric sound is bolstered by lead singer Dougy Mandagi’s incredible voice. Deeply indebted to soul acts, Madagi’s range hints at a lifetime hero worshipping Aretha Franklin.
Now moved to the UK, The Temper Trap have signed to rejuvenated indie label Infectious. The band are attempting to conquer the country the same way they bowled over Australia – through hard work.
A heavy schedule saw The Temper Trap play a number of festival dates, including Scotland’s massive T In The Park. It seems as if this tactic is paying off with the band’s upcoming London date being moved from Relentless Garage to cope with demand.
The Temper Trap will now tread the board at Heaven, one of the most iconic venues in the capital. With their debut album still to be released, it seemed that the heavenly sounds of Temper Trap could well become Australia’s next big export.
The Temper Trap will now play the following date:
September
