T In The Park Costume Drama

Fest Launches On-Site Competition

The opening day of this year’s T In The Park is set to be one of the most colourful of the festival season after organisers requested party-goers to dress up in return for briefs to next year’s event.

It’s that time of year again – when 80,000 Scottish music lovers converge on a field near Balado to create one if the wildest parties on earth. This year headlined by The Verve, Rage Against The Machine, R.E.M. and many more, tickets are like gold-dust. However, those who wear fancy dress on the opening day may well be rewarded with tickets to next year’s event – before any briefs have even gone on sale yet.

Featuring over 180 acts spread over 12 stages, this year’s T In The Park looks set to be the biggest and best yet. For those of you who can’t wait to secure your tickets for next year’s event, however, the time is nearly right to act. Early bird tickets for the 2009 event will go on sale at 9am on Tuesday 15th July – at this year’s prices. Only a small supply of tickets will be sold this way, with competition set to be fierce.
