SZA Joined By Sampha And Snoh Aalegra At BST Hyde Park

It's a future RnB showcase for the ages...

SZA will headline a very special performance on June 29th, the first Saturday of BST Hyde Park’s three star-studded weekends.

The St Louis talent will be joined by special guests Sampha and Snoh Aalegra, with more support acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

Fresh off her stint at Primavera, SZA descends on the green pastures of Hyde Park at the height of the summer solstice with her fluid brand of caustic and confessional RnB. The Top Dawg singer established herself as a force in music with her Grammy-nominated debut album ‘Ctrl’. Her long-gestating follow-up, ‘SOS’, went straight to No.1 on the Billboard 200 at the tail end of 2022, producing four Top Ten pop singles, and earning the artist three Grammy awards. Earlier this year, SZA was also crowned ‘International Artist of the Year’ at the BRIT Awards.

Sampha has left an indelible mark on contemporary culture, securing collaborations and production credits on masterworks by Solange and Beyoncé. The Morden artist won the Mercury Music Prize in 2017 with his searing debut album ‘Process’, releasing the CLASH Album of the Year and ode to generational healing, ‘Lahai’, last year.

A mentee of Prince, Iranian Swedish-born singer Snoh Aalegra, has accrued multiple GRAMMY nominations with her classic take on soul music, releasing two acclaimed albums: ‘Ugh, those feels again’ in 2019, followed by ‘Temporary Highs In Violet Skies’ in 2021, which featured heavyweights like Pharrell and Tyler, The Creator.

SZA and co join an eclectic line up for BST Hyde Park 2024 including previously announced headliners Kings of Leon (June 30th), Andrea Bocelli (July 5th), Robbie Williams (July 6th), Shania Twain (July 7th), Stevie Nicks (July 12th), Kylie (July 13th) and Stray Kids (July 14th), with more artists to be revealed soon – so watch this space!
