Welsh indie treasures Super Furry Animals are to play an intimate hometown show at the Cardiff Sub 29 May 28.
Although the band recently cited they wouldn’t be playing any more indoor shows in the future, this will be a rare opportunity for fans to see them on home soil – indoors.
Returning recently with their ninth album ‘Dark Days/Light Years’ (full Clash Review HERE), the Super Furry’s remain one of the most inventive bands around, with the band even recruiting stray members of Franz Ferdinand to rap on their new album (in German, of course).
Clash Music recently caught up with the band to talk Britpop, America and loads more – check out the full feature HERE.
As well as playing the small hometown show, Super Furry Animals will go on to play a series of festival dates throughout the summer, see below for details.
