Annual Welsh folk festival The Green Man has confirmed that Super Furry Animals will headline this year’s event.
Begun and curated by acoustic duo It’s Jo And Danny the event has increased its capacity year on year since its inception in 2003. Last year’s event attracted 10,000 music lovers, and this year the festival will cater for more people than ever before.
This year’s Green Man festival will be held in Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacon, Wales. Super Furry Animals are perhaps the perfect headliners, due to their Welsh heritage and lead singer Gruff Rhys’ apprenticeship on the Welsh language folk circuit.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will take place on the 15th, 16th and 17th of August.
