Sufjan Stevens announces US tour

American songwriter to play seventeen date tour

Eclectic American musician Sufjan Stevens has finally released details about his forthcoming tour of the USA. Starting on September 21, Stevens is set to tour the eastern half of North America in a series of intimate gigs. He will embark from Philadelphia and end up with four shows in New York in October.

Stevens has recently been most notably working on a multimedia performance inspired by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, but his record label Asthmatic Kitty have denied the live shows will have anything to do with this. This suggests the tour might consist of classic back catalog material from albums like ‘Illinois’ or even long awaited new material.

The support for this tour will be Californian indie band Cryptacize, the full tour dates are as follows:
