Sufjan Stevens released new album 'Carrie & Lowell', a deeply personal record which touched on love, loss and parenthood.
Hitting the Top Ten on both sides of the Atlantic, the songwriter has now confirmed plans for his first UK tour in four years.
Opening with a pair of Irish dates, the UK segment of the tour opens in Edinburgh on August 30th before hitting Manchester and London.
Ending with a show at Bristol's Colston Hall on September 6th, tickets go on sale on Thursday (April 23rd) morning.
