Stereophonics For Isle Of Wight

More groups added to bill

Welsh rock group Stereophonics are set to dazzle the crowd at this year’s Isle Of Wight festival, with the event adding more bands to its bill.

Bringing thousands of music fans to the South Coast island, the Isle Of Wight festival is eagerly awaited. Each year the organisers gather a bill that oozes talent, with legendary acts sharing a stage with hotly tipped newcomers.

Stereophonics need no introduction. One of the best selling British acts of the past decade, the Welsh act will perform on the main stage on Saturday night.

Lead singer Kelly Jones said in a statement “The Isle of wight festival is gonna be a great weekend. We’re recording most of the 1st half of this year so to step out of the studio and headline the festival this year with it being even bigger than when we played it a several years ago, will be a highlight for us! It’s gonna be rocking. Enough to make a bulldog wanna snap his chain!”

Joining the group on the bill will be British indie giants Razorlight. Currently jetting off to the United States for a whirlwind promo tour, this will be one of a select band of festival appearances the band will be making.

Also on the line up this year will be The Ting Tings, Pendulum and The Charlatans – who will curate The Big Top arena at the event.

Isle of Wight festival takes place between June 12th-14th.
