Manchester songsmith Stephen Fretwell is to return for a UK tour this May.
Since the release of his breakthrough LP ‘Magpie’, Fretwell has remained a highly acclaimed musical figure in the City, last year selling out the Manchester ‘Night & Day’ venue last year.
Fretwell is currently thought to be working on material for his next album, the follow-up to last year’s ‘Man On The Roof’ LP that saw him mixing his wry tales with his trademark acoustic balladeering.
The singer will play sixteen dates up and down the country, his biggest UK tour to date, following a string of American shows last year supporting The Last Shadow Puppets.
