Raconteurs Set Sail For Hove

Norway’s Hove Festival is set to expand its bill yet again with the introduction of The Raconteurs and M.I.A. to the event’s proceedings.

Set in an idyllic coastal location near Arendal on a Norwegian peninsula, Hove is only in its second year yet is one of the biggest festivals in Scandanavia. Already confirmed for the event are such acts as Pete Docherty’s Babyshambles and American rap superstar Jay-Z.

Comprising of the best in establishing and emerging talent, Hove has one of the best bills of the summer. Elsewhere at the event, festival goers will find US alternative star Beck, Britpoppers The Kooks and Norway’s own Hellacopters.

The Raconteurs are fresh from the sudden, but welcome, release of their second LP “Consolers Of The Lonely”. Led by The White Stripes’ Jack White, the group are always an exciting live act. British star M.I.A. is currently wowing doubters with her second album “Kala” – a ferocious mix of pop, grime and hip hop.

Hove Festival takes place between June 23rd – 27th.
