Gospel drone titans Spiritualized are set to re-visit their 1997 album ‘Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space’ with a special concert, and have now added a second London date to their live plans.
Featuring a huge cast of musicians and a full gospel choir, ‘Ladies And Gentlemen…’ is the band’s pinnacle: an ambitious assault of towering blues and orchestration with a cover that famously came in the form of a pharmaceutical prescription box.
The group are set to re-release the album, and celebrate with two shows at the London Royal Festival Hall this October, tickets for which are now on sale.
May also looks set to be a busy time for the band, when they hit this year’s Primavera and ATP Festivals, as well as a warm-up show at the Assembly in Leamington Spa.
