Spiritualized, Band Of Skulls and many more have confirmed their involvement in Save The Children's upcoming Christmas Tree Sessions event.
Christmas is a time for giving. Save The Children are one of the most worthwhile charities around, an organisation who have worked tirelessly to protect some of the most vulnerable people in the country.
So it's our pleasure to promote a suitably worthwhile event. The Christmas Tree Sessions take place on December 14th, in the romantic, historic confines of London venue the Union Chapel. Curated by 6Music host Lauren Laverne, the event already boasts an appearance from space rock heroes Spiritualized.
Returning with a new album earlier this year, the band's live shows have demonstrated some of the fire which makes them such an inspirational force. Elsewhere, Summer Camp will bring some festive cheer to the London venue while Band of Skulls have also confirmed their involvement. Meanwhile, broadcasters such as Stuart Maconie, Caitlin Moran, Chris Addison and more will take part.
Here's a quote from Lauren Laverne: “It’s great to be involved in a global charity that provides such essential work for children both in the UK and overseas, especially when I can help support them through two of my great passions – fashion and music.”
The event is being held on Save The Children's Christmas jumper day, with fans being encouraged to wear their loudest, most eye catching Christmas jumper to the Union Chapel. Got a bright red tank top with an image of Rudolph leaping across the sky? Dig it out…
