Brody Dalle is set to return this summer – unveiling her new band Spinnerette to the UK by playing a series of shows in July.
Famed for her work with rock rebels The Distillers, Dalle announced her arrival as all-round punk pin-up and axe-smashing icon when the band’s debut was released in 2000, with their third album ‘Coral Fang’ going on to gain the band worldwide success upon its release.
Having split in 2007, Dale returned recently with a newly-formed Spinnerette, consisting of a host of members from huge rock acts such as Pearl Jam and Queens Of The Stone Age.
Dalle has cited the touring band for Spinnerette will be made up of different line-ups, with no set formation for the band when on the road. Their debut album is to be released on June 15th with the following shows taking place in July.
