Sounds From The Other City 2024: Gruff Rhys, Free Love, C Duncan Confirmed

The Salford multi-venue event returns...

Sounds From The Other City will return this May.

The multi-venue event has grown out of Salford’s close-knit creative community, becoming one of the North’s leading independent festivals. Taking place on May 5th, it’s set to welcome an eclectic bill, ranging from bona fide legends to brand new names.

Welsh hero Gruff Rhys will play at the University of Salford’s historic Maxwell Hall, while Mercury nominee C Duncan will tread the boards at the Salford Museum & Art Gallery.

Other names on the bill include Muva of Earth, Kinkai, wonderful Glasgow project Free Love, and recent sleaford mods support Jellyskin.

Clash favourite Halo Maud will hit Sounds From The Other City, with the bill also finding room for Viji, Belle Chen, Pink Pound, and Oram Award winner Kelly Jayne Jones.

Seminal Mancunian producer A Guy Called Gerald will perform at the festival, with a few surprises still to be unveiled.

Sounds From The Other City 2024 takes place on May 5th. Tickets are on sale now at www.soundsfromtheothercity.com.
