Soulwax, Django Django For Secret Garden Party

First names on line up confirmed

Soulwax and Django Django are amongst the names confirmed for this year's instalment of The Secret Garden Party.

Small acorns, mighty oaks…

When the The Secret Garden Party began the name wasn't too wide of the mark. Establishing itself on the festival calendar, the event has grown in capacity each year to become one of the summer's true highlights. Returning this year, organisers have unveiled the first names on the line up.

Soulwax are set to headline The Secret Garden Party, with the Belgian electro-rockers set to be joined by Mercury nominated indie types Django Django. Elsewhere, Bastille have confirmed their involvement while Irish rhythm 'n' blues newcomers The Strypes will also be taking part.

Mixing established acts with newcomers, the event is set to welcome Wolf Alice, London Grammer, Public Service Broadcasting and Treetop Flyers. Aside from indie, The Secret Garden Party will invite along the best in electronic talent.

The Temple of Boom will be curated by Eddy Temple-Morris, and the line up is dominated by the spectre of James Lavelle playing a very special UNKLE set. Other names include The Correspondents, with Foamo, Josh Butler and more due to take part.

Here's Head Gardener and programmer Fred Fellowes: "Every couple of years it seems that music bubbles up an endless host of new wonders in a relatively short space of time. In such a moment as this, we feel incredibly honoured to be hosting so many of these incredible new bands at the Garden Party. When added to the amazing new site works I really just can’t wait for this year’s SGP".

The Secret Garden Party runs between July 25th – 28th.
