This year’s Sonisphere festival has expanded, with further additions for 2009 set to include Nine Inch Nails, Mastodon, Alice In Chains and many more being added to the bill.
Taking place at the famous Knebworth ground near London in August, the event will be headlined by metal titans Metallica and Linkin Park.
With Mastodon unleashing their fourth LP recently (read the Clash Music review citing it as the ”stuff of legend” here) and other additions to the bill including Killing Joke, The Sword and Dublin glam-rock legends Thin Lizzy now also set to play, Sonisphere looks set to become the metal event of the summer.
