Spain’s sensational Sonar festival is to bring a taste of its unique atmosphere to London for a one off show featuring Jeff Mills, Erol Alkan and many more.
Sonar has grown to become one of the finest electronic music festivals on the planet. Covering everything from the avant garde to the biggest dancefloor fillers, it gathers fans from across the world for a weekend of unforgettable music.
The festival has agreed to head to London for one night only as part of the new Short Circuit event. Organised by the Roundhouse, the new event will see Sonar take control of the venue to curate their own evening.
A Taste Of Sonar presents some of the artists who will be present at Sonar 2009. Erol Alkan will appear with his Disco 3000 project, while other performers include Sounclusters, devised by Roland Olbeter (with Tim Exile and Jon Hopkins as composers and co-performers) and the German trio Moderat.
Other highlights include a special set by Jeff Mills. The producer stood at the forefront of the second generation of techno stars, and remains a cutting edge artist.
