Soft Pack Cancel UK Tour Dates

Guitarist has bronchitis

Hot new American rockers The Soft Pack have been forced to cancel two upcoming shows on their UK tour.

The Soft Pack have got guts. Beginning life as a combo named The Muslims the band clearly decided that the threat of Islamic extremism was no match for good old fashioned rock ‘n’ roll.

Bowing to record label pressure the group re-christened themselves The Soft Pack and began playing a series of high profile shows. Blowing the roof off CMJ in New York the band have spent 2009 gathering sky high expectations.

New single ‘Answer To Yourself’ is a case in point. Savage guitars slide by while the band scream their independence. Released on seven inch this week (November 2nd) you can read out thoughts here!

Recently confirming details of their debut album, The Soft Pack could well become one of 2010’s breakthrough acts.

However the band upcoming British tour has been thrown into dis-array due to guitarist Matty McLoughlin coming down with bronchitis. Still attempting to recover from the illness the American rockers have been forced to pull two dates.

Set to play Glasgow’s iconic King Tuts venue tonight (November 3rd) and Manchester’s Ruby Lounge (November 4th) tomorrow, both shows have now been cancelled.

As a result, The Soft Pack will no only play one date on their UK tour – London’s Barfly on Thursday (November 5th).

The Soft Pack have cancelled the following shows:

November
3 Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
4 Manchester Ruby Lounge
