Slow Club have confirmed plans for a one off Christmas show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
The sun is shining, Wimbledon is on the telly and our summer holidays are booked. So why in the name of chronic sunburn is Clash writing about Christmas?
Well, Slow Club have arranged a new show. The band's festive sets have become something of a tradition, with the duo inviting friends, guests and members of the audience to join the celebrations.
A gleefully fun, wholly unpretentious affair the annual shows take place in London and have already outgrown the Union Chapel and Koko.
This year, Slow Club are trying something even more ambitious. The duo will take control of the Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 10th, with the press statement promising "the showbiz oomph of a Motown review, complete with brass and strings and the occasional choir or special guest musician."
Lovely. Tickets are on sale now.
