Slow Club Announce Shepherds Bush Date

New album due in 2011

Slow Club have confirmed details of a new show in London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.

Just a two piece, Slow Club pack a hefty punch. Since releasing their debut album ‘Yeah, So’ last year the band have watched as word has spread about them, with tour venues gradually creeping up in capacity.

Ending the year with a series of shows, Slow Club are set to preview their second album. Recorded earlier in 2010, the duo have jotted down tracks for a potential follow up to ‘Yeah, So’.

Due to be released in the Spring, Slow Club will toast their success with some Christmas shows. However Charles and Rebecca won’t be able to take much time off, after confirming their largest headline show to date.

The duo will play London venue Shepherd’s Bush Empire on May 18th. The band’s biggest show to date, the Moshi Moshi two piece are set to bring along some friends for the very special date.

The new show follows on from a recent show in Koko, which saw Slow Club push back their own audience record. Growing in popularity, the band are currently buying up tinsel for their Christmas show.

Joined by some close friends, Liverpool band The Wave Pictures are set to perform. Elsewhere, Sweet Bamboo will entertain fans before Slow Club delve into the archives for a free festive singalongs.
