Legendary rock icon Slash has confirmed details of four very special shows across the UK and Ireland.
The guitar hero template was set down in the 60s. Since the glory years of Hendrix, Clapton, Allman and more few have risen to the challenge, with fewer still attempting to eclipse those gods of the six string.
With his low hung pose, long curly hair and collection of hats Slash has become the de facto modern day guitar icon. Through his work with Guns N Roses and beyond, the guitarist has helped to re-define rock music.
Gathering a host of famous friends for his new album, ‘Slash’ featured guest appearances from the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop and… Fergie. Who the guitarist assures us is an excellent rock singer (we’ll take your word on that).
Arranging a series of festival dates this summer, Slash is due to perform at metal bash Download as well as Glastonbury. The home of peace and love vibrations, Slash will follow the Worthy Farm show with four headline dates.
A series of rare British appearance, Slash will begin the jaunt in Ireland on June 29th. Skipping over the sea, the guitarist is due to perform at Edinburgh’s Picture House on July 1st.
Finishing the tour with a show in Manchester, Slash is also preparing for a slot at Wireless later this summer.
