Skepta, The Hydra, Jamie Jones For Drumsheds’ Inaugural Season

It's a huge development for London live events...

New North London venue The Drumsheds has confirmed the initial names for its Autumn / Winter season.

The new cultural space is a huge undertaking, with promotions team Broadwick Live taking control of a 608,000 sqft space in a disused North London warehouse. The inaugural Autumn / Winter season runs across 12 week, occupying the enormous site each and every Saturday.

Up to 15,000 guests each week will be catered for, and the first names for The Drumsheds opening season have been confirmed.

Skepta and Jammer will bring their Mas Tiempo label to The Drumsheds, and it follows a roadblock appearance at London’s KOKO venue. A return to their house roots, Mas Tiempo is a daring about-turn from two of British music’s most vital figures.

Elsewhere, you can expect Major League Djz – who sold out three consecutive nights at O2 Academy Brixton – alongside The Hydra, Charlotte De Witt, BuggedOut! and La Discothèque.

Want to get involved? Sign up to the Drumsheds mailing list online and you’ll be granted access to tickets from August 2nd. The full line-ups for the opening season will be announced shortly.

Aja Jayaram of Broadwick Live comments:

“DRUMSHEDS as a cultural project is about creativity and impact at scale. Some of music’s biggest artists, labels and brands are working with us to curate shows that are unparalleled in terms of size and production in the capital, offering our guests an experience unlike anything before. And we are grateful to all of the artists and partners who have joined us on this journey, for their support and their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones to create something unique with the team Broadwick Live. We’re looking forward to sharing the full line-ups for the entire season opening season, at the end of August…”
