Siouxsie Sioux To Headline Latitude; Her First Live Performance In 10 Years

The queen of goth is back...

British icon Siouxsie Sioux will headline Latitude next summer.

The London artist emerged from the white heat of punk, famously appearing in the Sex Pistols’ notorious Bill Grundy interview. Making her debut at the 100 Club, Siouxsie Sioux pioneered her own, profoundly stark sound, acting as a primary mover within the emergence of post-punk.

A style and music icon, Siouxsie Sioux hasn’t performed onstage in 10 years – but she’ll return next summer, with a headline slot at Latitude.

Siouxsie will headline the BBC Sounds Stage at the festival, joining fellow headliners Pulp, Paolo Nutini, and George Ezra.

Latitude Festival Director, Melvin Benn commented: “What a privilege it is to welcome the iconic Siouxsie to the Latitude Festival. Siouxsie has been an enduring  trailblazer and her impact across musical culture is colossal. Uncompromisingly defiant, Siouxsie’s powerful body of work is incomparable. There has never been a live performer like her and there probably never will be!”

Tickets are on sale now.

Latitude runs between July 20th – 23rd.
