Simian Mobile Disco Live Shows

May tour dates confirmed

Simian Mobile Disco have outlined plans for a new batch of nationwide shows this May.

Simian Mobile Disco like to tour. And tour. And tour. And tour.

Jas Shaw and James Ford owe much of their success to their live show, which blends stunning visuals with their typically pulsating, rock edged electro production. With a new album on the horizon, it comes as no surprise to find that Simian Mobile Disco are planning to get back out on the road.

‘Unpatterns’ will be released on May 14th, with the duo providing the following quote: “It’s a record full of love, dedication, hard-earned experience, obvious understanding of decades of electronic music from across scenes and styles, and huge fun. It’s completely of the now, showing a band as familiar with Blawan and Lone as they are with Silver Apples and Phuture, but never jumping on bandwagons.”

Set to play a one off show in April at the Village Underground, Simian Mobile Disco will then launch their latest UK tour in May.

Opening in Brighton on May 3rd, the tour hits Edinburgh, Bristol and Birmingham before returning to London.

Simian Mobile Disco will perform in Fabric on May 18th, before closing the shows with a visit to Magnet.
