Silver Columns Confirm Live Dates

Mysterious dance gurus hit the road

Mysterious dance duo Silver Columns are to hit the road ahead of their new single.

Sneaked out last year, Silver Columns’ debut 12 inch contained no information apart from the title. Fans were left scratching their heads at the identity of the duo, who took dancefloors by storm.

Unleashing themselves on the world earlier this year, Silver Columns revealed their true identities to be none other than Adem and The Pictish Trail.

Mild-manner songwriters by day, by night the pair ditch their acoustic guitars for synths and laptops. Crafting sublime electro pop over the course of last year, the two worked via email taking time off of their touring schedule to produce some dance belters.

Performing live for the first time at the Homegame festival, Silver Columns were a spectacular if bewildering experience. The sight of seeing two respected songwriters donning masks and leaping around to pulsating house music was difficult to take in, even if the music was extremely credible.

Preparing to unleash their new single ‘Cavalier’ soon, Silver Columns have confirmed plans to assault the nation’s ear drums. Taken from their debut album the track is a slice of carefully crafted synth pop, like Erasure on Bubbles.

Forthcoming debut album ‘Yes And Dance’ is an addictive experience, with Silver Columns already finding their way onto a Kitsune compilation.

Due for release on May 31st, Silver Columns will precede their debut album with the following shows:

April
17 London Ginglik
17 London Pure Groove

May
2 London Camden Crawl
13 – 15 Brighton The Great Escape
22 London Stag And Dagger
29 Wales Green Man Boat Party

June
14 – 18 Beachbreak Live
