Secret Garden Party Line Up

First details emerge

One of Britain’s most unusual and highly acclaimed festivals is to return this summer with Secret Garden Party revealing the first details of its 2009 event.

A wonderful way to escape the stress and toil of everyday life, The Secret Garden Party is a wonderfully evocative way to spend a weekend. Centred on a lake the site is naturally beautiful but the organisers go all out to make it seem like nothing else around.

The site is split into two camps – Eden and Babylon – marked by the Tower Of Babel. The attention to details extends from the site to the bill, which includes everyone from established legends to up and coming artists.

Former Pulp singer turned solo star Jarvis Cocker is set to headline this summer’s event. The singer is currently working on his upcoming second album, which will be released later this year.

Joining him will be reggae legends Toots And The Maytals, French electro group Phoenix as well as English newcomers Golden Silvers. A hugely electric affair, the bill contains yet more surprises yet to be revealed.

The event has also grabbed a smooth line up of DJs including Toddla T, Caspa, DJ Food.

Secret Garden Party is due to take place between July 23rd – 26th.
