Seasick Steve For UK Jaunt

Summer dates planned

Blues machine and travelling musician Seasick Steve is set for a busy summer after announcing a series of festival appearances.

Having wondered around the United States and Europe for some time, Seasick Steve finally began to make headway in the music industry after a now famous appearance on Jools Holland.

Since then the only way has been up for the blues musicians. Last album ‘I Started Out With Nothing…’ was a top ten success, starring guests such as KT Tunstall.

A recent UK tour wound up with the musician being nominated for ‘Best International Male’ at the Brit Awards. Ol’ Seasick didn’t win – but he did make some money by busking outside the ceremony.

Seasick Steve is set to play a number of very special festival dates. Last year the dungaree clad cult hero played a storming set at Scotland’s T In The Park, and he is set to repeat this over the summer.

Also pencilled in are appearances at V Festival and Rob Da Bank’s Bestival event. In addition to that, Seasick Steve is also set to support Neil Young at Hard Rock Calling, a massive event in London’s Hyde Park.
