90’s indie-pop outfit Saint Etienne are to perform their 1991 debut album ‘Foxbase Alpha’ in its entirety at a series of gigs this May.
Having released their Best Of album ‘London Conversations’ recently and also featured in our Clash Music Track Of The Day feature (hear their cut ‘Method Of Modern Love’ here), the band will return to their roots for shows in Glasgow, Sheffield and London .
Fronted by Sarah Cracknell, Saint Etienne found repeated success throughout the 90’s with their mix of chiming guitars, trip hop beats and a danceable backbone. Their debut features the highly popular cover of Neil Young’s ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’ (set to be a fan favourite at the shows).
‘Foxbase Alpha’ will also be re-released complete with added bonus tracks in the Summer, tour details and tickets below.
