The Rolling Stones have announced a short burst of UK and European shows.
The band's live performances are legendary, defying the years with a stellar, perhaps unrivalled, catalogue.
Spending the bulk of 2017 on the road the group are refusing to lay-low, announcing another run of UK and European dates.
Promising all the hits and a smattering of surprises each and every night, The Rolling Stones will open the run at Dublin's Croke Park on May 17th.
Hitting the London Stadium on May 22nd, the legendary group will then hit Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, before returning for a second bite at London on June 19th.
Keith Richards says: “It’s such a joy to play with this band there’s no stopping us, we’re only just getting started really.”
Fellow Glimmer Twin Mick Jagger adds: ‘‘This part of the No Filter tour is really special for the Stones. We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. It’s always exhilarating going to cities we haven’t played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford and the London Stadium.’’
Tickets for the UK shows go on sale this Friday (March 2nd) at 9am.
