RockNess have added more names to this summer’s line up, with Jeff Mills, Errors and more set to take part.
Scotland’s wildest party, RockNess began as a one day dance event. Since then, the festival has won a clutch of awards and expanded to encompass more genres than you might care to mention.
Continuing to add more names to its already glowing line up, RockNess are set to invite Detroit icon Jeff Mills down to the party. A legend in techno circles, the producer remains in constant demand with his set taking him around the globe.
Agreeing to perform at RockNess, Jeff Mills will bring down the curtain on the Sub Club Soundsystem on Sunday night. Another jewel in the crown of the RockNess electronic line up, the techno don will be joined by festival favourite Rob da Bank and Glasgow based group Errors.
On an indie tip, Sound of Guns, The Pigeon Detectives and All The Young are all set to take part.
Northern Irish legends Ash have been named on the line up, and the band will no doubt relish a return to Scotland. ‘1977’ sounds as fresh as ever, with recent shows demonstrating a group who can still pack a powerful punch.
Elsewhere, Saint Saviour is set to perform while The Correspondents, Nina Nesbitt and more are set to make the journey to Dores.
Festival organiser Jim King had the following to say: “We’re delighted with this announcement. Jeff Mills closing his stage on the Sunday night is going to be something special”.
RockNess runs between June 8th – 10th.
