Ringo Starr has been forced to re-arranged 12 shows due to COVID.
The Beatles legend is completing a huge North American tour, with the run kicking off on May 27th at Casino Rama in Ontario.
Mid-way though the run, however, All Star Band musician Edgar Winter came down with COVID; Ringo told audiences on June 7th at their Beacon Theater, New York show, and vowed to play on.
Now, however, Steve Lukather has also tested positive for COVID, forcing the group to re-schedule 12 upcoming shows.
The dates will still go ahead, but have been added to the All Starr Band's September run.
Ringo says…
“We are so sorry to let the fans down. It’s been wonderful to be back out on the road and we have been having such a great time playing for you all. But as we all know, Covid is still here and despite being careful these things happen. I want to thank the fans for their patience, I send you all peace and love, and we can’t wait to be back in the Fall…”
In the meantime, you can join Ringo on July 7th for his annual Peace and Love birthday celebration, where he invites fans to post 'Peace And Love' at noon their local time.
