Ride have always been conscious of their surroundings.
Coming of age in Oxford, the band even used the city's post code – OX4 – as a song title.
Set to play Coachella this month, Ride have decided to warm up with a show in their home town.
Due to play Oxford's O2 Academy on Sunday (April 5th) it will no doubt be an emotional return for the band who reformed late last year.
