Acclaimed American songwriter Richard Swift is set to take his new album ‘The Atlantic Ocean’ to the UK with a series of live shows.
Richard Swift was brought up in a musical Quaker family, singing in church from an early age. However he rebelled against his upbringing and fled to Southern California to begin a musical career.
Working in almost total isolation, Swift eventually began winning admirers with his superbly creative approach to music and film-making. Recording two albums under assumed names, Swift struck under on his own stead with 2005’s ‘Walking Without Effort’.
However the songwriter was unhappy with the results and immediately went back into the studio to craft ‘The Novelist’ which was released in the same year. With a strict work policy Swift has released a multitude of albums, including last year’s fascinating ‘Richard Swift As Onasis’.
Another year, another Richard Swift album though and the songwriter is ready to release ‘Atlantic Ocean’ on April 27th. The album is set to be preceded the title track’s release as a single, which will contain a percussive reworking called ‘Pacific Ocean Version’.
