Reverend & The Makers Live Dates

New album and UK Dates this Autumn

As well as returning for a show at this year’s Love Music Hate Racism festival, Reverend & The Makers are set to return for a full UK tour this Autumn.

The Sheffield outfit are set to return with their second album ‘A French Kiss In The Chaos’ on July 27th, with The Reverend returning to the band following almost a year working on his indie-rap crossover group Mongrel.

After John McClure aka The Reverend confused fans late last year by claiming he was quitting music and then suddenly changing his mind, it looks as though his band The Makers are back on track, with new single ‘Silence Is Talking’ set to be released on 13th July.

The outspoken Sheffield musician recently also successfully campaigned against the controversial Form 696, a ‘risk assessment’ bill that records the ethnicity of individuals attending gigs, as well as the style of music played.

After months of campaigning and a petition set up by McClure, the Form 696 is now looking as though it may well be scrapped, after government body for Culture, Media and Sport deemed it “beyond the requirements” of the Licensing Act.

Reverend & The Makers are set to play twelve UK dates in October and November, tickets are expected to go on-sale soon.
The band are also currently giving away free track ‘Professor Pickles’ via their website, which you can download HERE.
