2016’s second Fresh Out The Box offering picked up where the first left off and brought some much-needed feel-good vibes on a chilly night in Shoreditch’s famed Boxpark.
A monthly event brought to you by Marshall, Ibiza Rocks and Viber, the night comprises of BBC Radio 1’s DJ maestro Phil Taggart and a selection of the finest upcoming and unsigned bands around, makes this a compulsory inclusion in your calendar – oh, and there’s free beer.
DJ TP got things rolling last night with an energetic genre-spanning mix before Scottish quartet Vukovi turned up the heat with their distinctive brand of heavy-hitting pop rock.
Phil Taggart closed out the evening in fine fashion, with a grime-packed set and a showcase of Chase & Status’ Prodigy-esque new release ‘Control’, featuring the all-conquering Slaves.
