Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to play a headline slot at Reading and Leeds.
The Californian band recently emerged from their slumber, promising fans a host of international dates in 2016.
The group will play a headline slot at Reading and Leeds, the first time they've played the twin-site festival since 2007.
Festival organiser Melvin Benn commented: "I’m thrilled to be able to announce Red Hot Chili Peppers as the first headliner for Reading & Leeds 2016, as a festival exclusive. Their incredible live show will be an unforgettable headline performance at the UK's biggest music festival. We’ve still got some really exciting names to announce and I can’t wait to reveal the rest of the line up. It’s going to be our best year yet."
Other new additions include The 1975, Courteeners, Twenty One Pilots, Boy Better Know, DJ EZ, Slaves, Crossfaith, Kinds, and Rat Boy.
Reading and Leeds 2016 runs between August 26th – 28th.
