Red Hot Chili Peppers 2012 Tickets

Knebworth, Sunderland shows on sale

Tickets for Red Hot Chili Peppers 2012 shows at Knebworth and Sunderland are on sale now.

Gearing up for a lengthy European tour, Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to prove that they can still pack in the crowds. The band have confirmed plans to play a lengthy series of British shows, beginning with an epic stint at the O2 Arena.

However these shows have nothing on the scale of next summer’s plans. Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to play just two shows, but the Californian funky gods will be joined by hundreds of thousands of fans.

Due to play an open air show in Knebworth, the band will visit the crucible of British rock music. The massive one off concert will be followed by a visit to Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on June 24th.

The massive dates are two of the biggest shows the band have undertaken, with thousands of fans due to descend on each concert. Intriguing, the group’s last appearance in the North East came in 1990 – at the 400 capacity Newcastle Riverside venue.

Probed for a comment, Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Keidis said: “Our philosophy is we’ll play any day, any time and we’re coming to do Knebworth and Sunderland”.

Tickets for the massive outdoor shows went on sale this morning (November 4th). Demand will be enormous, so be quick or be left out!

Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to play the following shows:

June
23 Knebworth
24 Sunderland Stadium of Light
