ClashMusic has been consulting all kinds of sources, both ancient and more up to date in order to find out what the weather will be like at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds festival.
Stuff the weathermen! They never get it right anyway. Following the success of Wales’ Green Man event we propose that all festivals should employ pagan druids to bless their site – at least that way the rain gods can be appeased.
However for those of you who desire something a little more up to date, slightly more scientific then ClashMusic has consulted the meteorologists in order to find out who’s going to be wet and who’ll be dry at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds festival.
Metcheck predicts that Friday (August 28th) in Reading will be almost rain free, with temperatures peaking at around 18 degrees celsius. However over at the BBC cloud boffins are predicting a sprinkling of rain.
The next day festival goers should be basking in sunshine, according to Metcheck. Temperatures with reach a sweltering 19 degrees celsius. Meanwhile the BBC is the bearer of glad tidings after reporting that temperatures could actually reach 21 degrees celsius.
Sunday (August 30th) should stay rain free, reported Metcheck, but there is a chance of slight drizzle in the evening as the site begins to cool.
Over in Leeds the picture looks slightly less rosy. Friday (August 28th) sees Metcheck predicting light rain, while the BBC team believe that heavy showers could hit the site. The following day should be dryer, with temperatures peaking at 14 degrees celsius.
Sunday will finish with light rain, with Metcheck reporting that Leeds will enjoy temperatures of 16 degrees celsius.
The important thing? That Kings Of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead are playing.
