Stadium straddling indie rockers Razorlight are set to return for a string of live dates next month.
The May tour will be the band’s first run of shows with new drummer David Sullivan-Kaplan, the band’s third sticksman in the last five years.
The four-piece are set to play a variety of intimate venues and arena’s, kicking off at Glasgow bar King Tuts, before going on to play four larger shows such as the 02 Arena in London.
Led by infamously outspoken and ever-confident frontman Johnny Borrell, tensions within the band led to the departure of their second drummer Andy Burrows recently, with the sticksman citing “personal reasons” for jumping ship. Burrows famously co-wrote their biggest hit ‘America’ with Borrell.
Returning last year with their third album ‘Slipway Fires’ (Clash Music Review), the group seemed poised to break the U.S. with their most overblown effort to date, however the departure has left many citing all may not be well in Razorlight camp.
Support for all May headline shows will come from Airborne Toxic Event and “>Here).
