Ratatat Headline Shows

More dates added

Ratatat have confirmed a series of British tour dates opening on November 25th.

Based in New York, Mike Stroud and Evan Mast make music which is experimental yet utterly addictive. Using the name Ratatat, the duo have become cult favourites for blurring electro with indie rock.

Returning with their latest album ‘LP4’ the duo crafted one of the summer’s liveliest summer releases. Ratatat worked in Old Soul Studios in upstate New York and opted for a much more lavish sound.

Working with a full size orchestra, the band seemed to take inspiration from soundtracks. In fact, Ratatat even went as far as to sample some of their favourite films, including dialogue from Werner Herzog and Terence Mallick.

Recently touring North America, Ratatat are set to return to the UK in order to release a new single. Taken from their recent album, ‘Neckbrace’ is a rattling, dancefloor inspired track which emphasises their party vibes.

Due to be released on December 6th, watch out for details of new remixes. Meanwhile, the band are preparing for a series of nationwide headline dates. Already confirmed as the support on Vampire Weekend’s upcoming tour, the band have added some standalone shows.

Spread inbetween those shows with Vampire Weekend, Ratatat are due to play Manchester’s Deaf Institute on November 27th. Also due to play Brighton on December 1st, the tour finishes on December 7th in London’s Heaven venue.
