It was never going to be a quiet affair.
Prince returned to London earlier this week, following a dash across the continent which included two memorable nights in Paris – the capital of romance.
Announcing two sets at the Roundhouse in one night, tickets for the shows sold out within five minutes. Clash was lucky enough to gain entrance to the second set, with Prince performing a blazing set alongside 3RDEYEGIRL.
In contrast to his previous set at the Electric Ballroom – which featured mainly deep cuts, rarities and new tracks – the Purple One delved into his illustrious catalogue to the ecstatic delight of the London crowd.
But that wasn't all, with the iconic performer then confirming a late night set the Hippodrome Casino in London’s Leicester Square. An after party for the premiere of new film 'Belle', the show was attended by Kate Moss, Dev Hynes, Paolo Nutini, The xx and Bryan Ferry – tough crowd!
